Pictures like this are generally taken on these cloudy Midwestern days. It’s our two oldest kids staring at a blank computer screen while Windows Media Player voices an audio book from the local library. They drag pillows and blankets to the area in front of the computer and find a comfy spot. Recently, however, Soule Mama has mentioned several good sites for(mostly free) audio books. The comments on this post last Thursday were full of “tested by kids” suggestions for good literature on line. I’ve tried a few of these, but not all, so do your own listening before you open up the possibility to your kids. Then find a blanket, a bean bag and curl up for day dreaming to great books!
