Recently, I came across these books to borrow from a private library. 
They are in question and answer format and have given Jack and I some good discussion topics.
I started with Volume 1, of course, and during Drop Everything And Read he picked up the dinosaur book on his own.
With next week scheduled as "school vacation", we are slowly dwindling through our library book supplies. We've had time to delve into books that "I've been meaning to get to" and though it has been a hodge podge of topics, we've enjoyed the break from topic specific studies.
The author, Ken Ham, has his own well known website with a mediocre kids section. I have it on my list of 'things to do' to check out some of the videos explaining aspects of Creation to kids.
Let me know if you get to it first, and if they are Mom and/or kid approved!
