Plugging Along

School has been going really well the last two weeks.  Motivation and enthusiasm for learning and hard work seem to be turning with the weather.  Jack and I have had lots of good "table times" as of late. 

We've been introducing new vocabulary.  In math, we've been covering different 2-D & 3-D shapes and types of lines.  In Language Arts, we've introduced parts of speech (through Mad Libs...fun!) as well as sentence structure.

We finished up talking about 2nd grade geometry, physics and are now looking at early American history.  I am thinking about starting some cursive writing practice in the next week or so.
