Friday afternoon found us at a small but very nice dinosaur museum. It took us an hour to walk through the exhibits to discover some fiercesome creatures!
After driving an hour to get to the museum, though, and then only spending an hour there...we had to make one more stop to make the trip stretch a bit longer!
We went on a factory tour of a local candy business. Something I'd been meaning to do for quite a while!
All in all, it was a good day. It felt good to expand the horizons of young minds outside our "regular" classroom!
