Before the illness of last week, we completed "Sunken Boat Week". Jack completed his regular box work in the morning, but then we read a lot of good trade books and watched some Discovery TV titled "Treasure Quest".
Do you remember the reason we're doing all these different types of ocean study?
We are studying the ocean every month because Jack would say he's very interested in ocean study as a career some day.
So far, all I think I've done with our study of the ocean is serving to create an unhealthy fear of the realms. Think of what we've studied, for instance: Artic/Antarctic exploration, Jaws and the great white shark, and now Titanic and other sunken ships! The poor boy will never want to go in the ocean again!!
