Bill Nye the Science Guy? He has a series of 30 minute entertaining and informative videos on various science subjects.
A name you might recognize from books but also has short, 30 minute videos with laughter and learning is the
Magic School Bus series. We’ve recently enjoyed videos on weather. I mean, I can teach weather just fine through books and discussion, but isn’t it more fun to watch a real hurricane on tv!! Conversely, a M.S.B. video on baseball focusing on friction and does a much better job teaching this concept than I could have. I know my limits in sports and science!
